Well, well, well...had that party thang at Ally's, was awesome as usual! Decorations all over, costumes...it was kewl, people actually wore costumes! Tossed back a few, so to speak, and had fun. Aside from all that, I'm back at work, going bonkers...and now the rest of this week, and next week, it looks like 10 hour shifts! I'm so...excited *twirls finger in the air*. Ah well, onward!
Blast from the past time! I'm going to re-add some of the old stuff, starting with the Joke, Useless Item, Quote, possibly Topic, that kinda thing...so away we go!
This Weeks Most Useless Item: Sanity...not technicaly an item, but useless when working at the Bay ;)
The Weekly Quotable: "Better to be hated for who you are, than loved for who you're not" -- Phlogiston Verdigris --
The Weekly Chuckle: Mozart Beyond the Grave When Mozart passed away, he was buried in a churchyard. A couple days later, the town drunk was walking through the cemetery and heard some strange noise coming from the area where Mozart was buried. Terrified, the drunk ran and got the priest to come and listen to it. The priest bent close to the grave and heard some faint, unrecognizable music coming from the grave. Frightened, the priest ran and got the town magistrate. When the magistrate arrived, he bent his ear to the grave, listened for a moment, and said, "Ah, yes, that's Mozart's Ninth Symphony, being played backwards." He listened a while longer, and said, "There's the Eighth Symphony, and it's backwards, too. Most puzzling." So the magistrate kept listening; "There's the Seventh... the Sixth... the Fifth..." Suddenly the realization of what was happening dawned on the magistrate; he stood up and announced to the crowd that had gathered in the cemetery, "My fellow citizens, there's nothing to worry about. It's just Mozart decomposing."
The Weekly Conversation Piece: Gaming. With the looming release of the big bang systems, I thought this fitting. Well, it's almost time to see what X-Box 'n Gamecube are all about, probably have seen the commercials for each one...VERY nice graphics (well, from what I've seen on the Gamecube...). If I went for either system, I would go Gamecube, strictly because I am a Nintendo fan. But all in all, I think game systems are getting too advanced, to the point that they aren't the escape from reality they once were...I mean, look at how realistic some of the games are. I play them to get away from that, to have a little fun, blow stuff up, and die in fun ways! Gimme Warcraft 2, Quake 1, a good 'ole SNES, NES...and I'm fine! Chrono Trigger still 0wns, imho. Well, what's your view? E-mail me at DaemonSadi@collegeclub.com, or frozendeity@planetnamek.org. (Even though that part is useless, no-one e-mails...*hint* *hint*)
I guess I'll get on with it, here's a few links for you to follow and enjoy!
